2009 FUTURE STARS EVENTS

2009 Dixie Future Stars Tournaments

The Dixie Future Stars events for 2009 were expanded to include three age divisions. Dothan, Alabama successfully hosted both the Junior Dixie Boys & Dixie Boys divisions. Eufaula, Alabama hosted the top 15-16 year-old Dixie Pre-Majors Baseball participants. Events were held the weekend of June 12-14, 2009. The unique wood bat format showcased the individual talents of players.

Players from the 11 southern states that comprise the Dixie region (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia) were invited to attend.

Each team played three (3) games. Check back for updated information about the event with team pictures, etc.
